A bit too sweet but very nice chocolate.

I ordered 9 boxes of these after purchasing one initial box as they were really nice.
Unfortunately the new order of 9 boxes arrived with each box with all the inner plastic unsealed leaving the contents stale. The aftercare from the staff at Friars was awful, they expected me to send them back via the post office and refused to refund me until the goods arrived with them.. they provided a label which I’m supposed to be grateful for but the heavy box for me to lug to the post office through no fault of my own .. no genuine apology received and no offer to replace the items. I’m still awaiting a refund. They admitted that they had cases of this before so be aware of buying in bulk..
Ashlee and Jackie were very ‘off’ in their responses to the many emails back and forth to rectify the situation.
I will stick to Hotel Chocolat next time.. a shame really as I was trying to give my custom to a small business.. but their aftercare and attitude is very poor as is the chocolate being received unsealed and stale. Avoid.
