They are so delicious. My Father used to sell them in his shop, several decades ago. I cannot find a stockist anywhere local. I order them a few times a year from Friars because my
Sister would never forgive me if she did not have any for her birthday or Christmas. The service is excellent and highly recommend Côte de or and of course Friars chocolates.

When the first delivery arrived the box was open. Friers had not made sure that the parcel tape covered where the two box flaps joined. I telephoned them and they sent me another box which was damaged but had not gone through to the contents. I'm self isolating hence the reason for an online purchase but I did manage to seal the open box and return it to Friers.
I have not received any apology from them nor any offer of compensation for the inconvenience caused. These bouchees were for a gift so I paid for next day delivery but because of the fact that the first box had to be returned I didn't get it on time. I am very disappointed with Friers and would not recommend them to anyone.

Despite the Royal Mail leaving my parcel in the full sun when they delivered the package, the Bouchée has survived by being kept in the fridge even a little misshapen they taste lovely. They are an annual treat when we visit the Lakes and always visit Friars before going home.

Absolutely love these chocolates. Remind us of when we lived in Germany. Only thing changed is the wrapping. I have ordered a couple of times from Friars now and order has been delivered within 72 hours of ordering. Cannot fault them.
