I use to buy these Cote Dor Bouchee msnu many years ago. My children who are all adults called them elephant chocolates and they absolutely loved them well we all did. Then I couldnt get them any more shop that sold them no longer could get them big disappointment. Then I saw this site Friars coildnt believe it. I purchased 3 boxes even my adult kids got excited. I've put them away for christmas but I know we are going to enjoy them as always. Friars were quick to deliver after I placed my order. I will be ordering more come Easter and further orders as well. Thank you Friars you have brought back many childhood memories from my family

I can recall my father buying the family one of these as a weekly treat in the seventies. They seemed to have disappeared from sweet shops after a couple of decades. Eating these was not only a trip down memory lane, but the smooth truffle styled chocolate slips down well with a cup of tea or coffee. The box arrived inside a week or so. I'll definitely buy these again.

They are so delicious. My Father used to sell them in his shop, several decades ago. I cannot find a stockist anywhere local. I order them a few times a year from Friars because my
Sister would never forgive me if she did not have any for her birthday or Christmas. The service is excellent and highly recommend Côte de or and of course Friars chocolates.

When the first delivery arrived the box was open. Friers had not made sure that the parcel tape covered where the two box flaps joined. I telephoned them and they sent me another box which was damaged but had not gone through to the contents. I'm self isolating hence the reason for an online purchase but I did manage to seal the open box and return it to Friers.
I have not received any apology from them nor any offer of compensation for the inconvenience caused. These bouchees were for a gift so I paid for next day delivery but because of the fact that the first box had to be returned I didn't get it on time. I am very disappointed with Friers and would not recommend them to anyone.
