My elderly sister loves these chocolates. I sent them to her for her birthday in December. Every time I speak to her on the phone, she tells me how exceptional the quality and taste of the chocolates are. The best she's ever had. She loves dark chocolate, and is quite a connoisseur.

I know that these chocolates will be delicious as I’ve tried their cherry liqueur chocolates on a couple of occasions and they were the best! That’s why I bought these for a friend whose birthday is at the end of April. However, these chocolates are to be eaten/best before 30 April. SO disappointing to have such a short shelf life. I really hope the flavour won’t be impaired!

We are enjoying these. We do think a menu would be nice, we like to know what we are eating. Some of the fillings are subtle e.g. pistachio marzipan - we might not know it contained pistachio if there was no menu. Fortunately you can print one from the website.

We had an email from Friars to say they were not accepting any more orders due to the crisis, and chocolate was "not important." Other chocolatiers have taken a different approach - rationalising ranges, limiting orders, but carrying on.

We are all under a kind of house arrest. Chocolate makes it sweeter.

A very good assortment of traditional hand made chocolates covered in thick high quality dark chocolate with mouthwatering centres.
The price is very reasonable for such an excellent product.
