No problem with the chocolates or delivery, though I think there is room to improve the format of the optional message for the recipient. It’s a nice idea to personalise the product, but the message is computer printed (using a nice font) in a size almost too small to read and bunched up to the edge of a self-adhesive label which is then stuck inside a Friars card. A larger font size printed (or hand written) directly onto a nice piece of quality card (gold or white on black perhaps?) might have looked nicer but perhaps I’m being pedantic. Otherwise, a nice product and I’d be happy to buy more from Friar’s in future.

This is my first box from Friars and they are so worth it! The flavours are so balanced and not drowned out in sugar. They are not very sweet but so tasty. The dark chocolate ganache is especially wonderful. Highly recommended!

Although I could see that the chocolates were well made and had unusual and interesting fillings I found that they were far too sweet for my taste. This applied to all the chocolate coverings ie milk, plain and white and also to the fillings.

Friars chocolates are delicious and I’ve bought a lot from them, but there are too many dark chocolates in this 15 chocolate box. There are also only 12 different chocolates and the 3 that are doubled up are also dark chocolate.

Whilst I have little doubt that the chocolates would have been a tasty treat for my wife. On arrival something had happened to then, perhaps due to poor packaging they had melted together and not only become a "blob" but had stuck to the inside packaging, destroying the content. Complained and service was fine with a full refund but not really the point when it was a present for a special occasion. Perhaps need to re-visit your packing dept as chocolate box was loose inside a much larger box "swimming around" which did not help and broke things up. - Sorry.

The recipients enjoyed the chocolates. They were well presented ans much thought had gone into the packaging. I especially liked the chill pack for the summer weather. However, as I told Jackie on the telephone today - we were a little disappointed that one of he gifts did not have a "menu" with them and the message on another item was repeated. Neither was too much of a problem though and didn't detract from the enjoyment!
