The chocolates themselves were amazing but unfortunately the little card that came with the chocolates had some typos - and not from what I had written as I had screenshotted the message to show my sister. It was meant to say Best Grandpa in the world and Grandpa and in merged together to say Grandpain!!! Poor Grandpa.

Very disappointed in these chocolates. I was looking forward to them as I have tasted other friars chocolates, and they were always delicious. Unfortunately these were a disappointment. Some of them were hard and a few had a sort of soapy taste

I've always loved milk chocolate ginger , tasting it for the first time when my sister brought slabs of it back from Australia, but had great difficulty in sourcing it until I discovered Friars Ginger Chocolate Collection. I have already provided a review which was to commend the excellent friendly and efficient service but to express the view of my Wife for whom the chocolates were bought that the ginger was not strong enough for her taste ,though I enjoyed the sample coffee creams which were added though perhaps they could be slightly more rich !

I buy the Friars Ginger Collection for my 90 yr old Aunt who is a gingerholic. She loves them! This is the best collection of ginger chocs that I have been able to find. The best thing is that there are a variety of four types of chocolate gingers to choose from. They are great quality, nicely presented and the perfect gift. This was my fourth purchase.
