Aromatic coffee is matched perfectly with creamy vegan white chocolate to produce a light and mellow truffle. It is then finished with a dusting of 100% cocoa powder to give an extra layer of flavour; the perfect treat for the coffee devotee.

Made with rice and oat milk, this handmade truffle has all the flavour of premium chocolate but without the dairy. A perfect gift for those with a dairy intolerance or following a vegan diet.

Kakoa was founded in 2019. Since turning vegan the founders saw a lack of premium vegan chocolate on the market, particularly milk and white chocolate. All their chocolate is made by hand using rice and oat milk, to create some fabulous modern and innovative flavours. They also have concerns about the future of our planet so all their packaging is 100% biodegradable.

We had really high hopes for these truffles but were unfortunately extremely disappointed with them. The white chocolate coating is very sugary and tastes like poor quality chocolate, and the filling is very bland. We couldn't taste the coffee at all. No one could bear having more than one bite off these.

These are maybe the best vegan chocolates I've ever had, the white chocolate melts in the mouth beautifully. The soft chocolate filling isn't too chocolatey, it's light and almost fluffy. The coffee flavour is subtle so it's not a dominant flavour, it enhances the flavour of the chocolate filling more than anything. Really lovely balance of flavours in this one. Will buy again.

They weren't actually Marzipan chocolates. I ordered and received Kakoa Barista Cappuccino White Chocolate Vegan Truffles. They were nice but would have been better with a stronger coffee flavour.
