Storage & Shelf Life
All products will have best before dates suitable for Christmas (end of February or later), unless marked as sale items. For sale products, the best before date is shown just below the product price.
Store chocolates in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and strong odours. Ideally, keep them at a temperature between 15–20°C. Refrigeration should be avoided unless absolutely necessary, as it can affect texture and flavour.
Most chocolates have a shelf life of several months, and in many cases up to 12 months. Please check the best-before date on the packaging for accuracy.
- If a product has less than 2 months’ shelf life, this will be shown on the product listing and the item will be reduced in price.
- If you need a specific date before ordering, feel free to contact us at sales@friars.co.uk.
It’s not recommended, as freezing can affect the texture and appearance.
